Covid-19 - How we are dealing with this, support hours changed, system upgrades, our future? - Updated 19th March 2020

With ourselves being a UK based company with clients all over the world we thought it would be best to list what we are doing to help ensure our staff wellbeing and safety.

So, what are we doing? - We have asked all staff to keep working from home (we are a work from home company anyway) but won't be doing any meeting with our staff face - face, just in case. All staff are getting paid their usual wadge too because of the Web Hosting industry isn't as affected as other such things like Theme Parks.

Support hours changed? - Yes, we are changing our support hours while the Covid-19 virus is spreading, because we want our staff to spend as much time with their family as possible! The hours we are doing currently are:

  • Monday: WAS (10:00-17:00) - NOW(10:00-13:00)
  • Tuesday: WAS (10:00-17:00) - NOW(10:00-13:00)
  • Wednesday: WAS (10:00-14:30 17:00-19:00) - NOW(10:00-14:30)
  • Thursday: WAS (11:30-19:00) - NOW(12:00-15:00)
  • Friday: WAS (10:00-17:00) - NOW(CLOSED)
  • Saturday: WAS (CLOSED) - NOW(CLOSED)
  • Sunday: WAS (CLOSED) - NOW(CLOSED)

System upgrades? - Luckily if we need to do any system updates at this time we are still able to have the data centre do this, however, if they are forced to shut then we will update clients if we are due updates.

Our Future? - As said above the web hosting industry SHOULD be safe while the outbreak is happening. So there is no need to worry about that.


Updates (17th March 2020) - With the UK still not on lockdown we are still working alongside the hours we stated that we changed to above. Support has been slower than expected but still resolved all issues what we have encountered. Need support? You can still contact us and we will do our best to reply ASAP! 

Updates (18th March 2020) - With the UK closing schools from 20th March 2020 and public transport from 19th March 2020 we have had to close some departments of our support, as states above. We have also changed the AUTO REPLY messages while this is ongoing around the world. We are still open with the above hours ^. 

We are expecting that the UK may be on lockdown within the next coming days, if this is the case HOSTABLE NETWORK COMPANIES (,,, will CLOSE support (unless a few times a day so staff can be with family).


What we are doing to prepare if we need to be on lockdown and close

We have upped our servers up 30GB ram, 4TB SSD. Updated backup server. We have also removed some details from our site (E.G. URLs to our storage and music).
